Step 1: The Consultation “Discovery Phase"
We come to your home for this phase of the process at which time we will discuss with you the project you have been dreaming about. We will take all measurements necessary for cost estimating and ask questions like; what is your goal for the project, when do you want it completed, what is on your wish list and determine if the value you are adding to your home would be worth the investment you are considering? We will also discuss the array of options, designs & products available to you for your particular project. From this visit we can provide you with a range of the project cost and will execute a “Design Services Agreement” and move to the next step.
Step 2: Design & Feasibility Phase:
We call this the “Investigative Phase". Our Project Manager and Sr. Designer will meet with us at your home to investigate the existing structure in order to create the best design for your project. We will advise you at this meeting if we feel there are any rules or regulations (i.e. set back requirements, code issues, deed restrictions, etc.) that would limit what you may be able to do. When we complete this phase of the process you will receive; the facts we discovered at our meeting, a conceptual drawing, a preliminary scope of work and a preliminary budget with several options for you to choose from. You will now sign the “Letter of Intent” and move to the next step. When we complete this phase of the process we will discuss the facts we discovered and provide you with conceptual drawing, a preliminary scope of work, and a preliminary budget with several options for you to choose from.
Step 3: Final Phase
You are in the home stretch! Now you have all the preliminary documents including design, scope of work, and preliminary budget. From steps 1 and 2 we are now ready to prepare the final budget, final scope of work and all the final construction documents. We will prepare the final drawings to include the floor plan, elevations, electrical, plumbing, etc. We will also prepare product selection sheets and finish schedules describing everything from floor coverings; cabinets, windows, electrical and plumbing fixtures as well as paint colors, wall & ceiling textures, doors and trim. After all this information is compiled we can now prepare the construction agreement and the construction process begins. We take great care in getting to this point because, just like you, we don't want any surprises at the end. Our step by step process aids in minimizing change orders and other cost increases.

With our designing software you can see your new kitchen before we start so there is no second guessing what the completed project will look like.
Similar to our design/build process our first visit will be at your home. During this visit, we will take measurements, ask you a few questions and prepare for you a preliminary design idea and budget range for your project.
The next step will be the design phase. Depending on the size of the project(s) we will collect a small design fee and you will then meet with the design team and we work together on creating your dream kitchen and bathroom. With your input throughout the process, we will create the design and select your cabinets, countertops, plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, backsplashes, floor coverings, wall coverings, paint, appliances and accessories. There is no need to go anywhere else.
After detailed preparation we will meet with you again to go over all specs and drawings and are now ready to move toward starting your project.
