On the right is a picture of the living room at a home in Lakeland. The homeowners felt cramped in with two small rooms divided by a load bearing wall aka “supporting wall” and found it difficult to entertain guests. There was no way for friends and family to gather without being separated. That is when they decided to find a local remodeling company. Knowing that we do whole house remodeling projects, major renovations and also additions, they called us.

To solve this problem we opened up the home by removing the dividing wall which also had a fireplace. We supported the opening with a beam structure and relocated the beautiful French doors and made them stationary windows in the loft area on the second floor of this two story home. The result on the right is a large beautiful Great Room now ready for entertaining and the family to enjoy wide open space. We also did crown molding on the plant shelf to put lighting behind in order to create soft lighting for a beautiful effect. The home owners agreed that we accomplished our mission which was to bring their vision to light.
